Data Analyst

Job Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Internal Audit Data Strategy team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting a large-scale transformation project focused on enterprise risk management within an investment banking environment. Your primary responsibilities will involve utilizing Python and SQL to develop robust data models, create efficient data pipelines, and design insightful visualization dashboards. You will also engage in exploratory data analysis to drive informed decision-making. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring that the data solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization. This position requires you to work onsite five days a week in our New York office, with a standard work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization.:

    Develop and maintain data models and pipelines using Python and SQL;; Create and distribute reports and dashboards using Tableau or similar tools;; Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives;; Conduct exploratory data analytics to identify trends and insights;; Support risk and controls assessments as necessary
