Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Security Office to lead our global enterprise-wide team of Security Officers across various levels including Group, area, region, and country. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, possess extensive knowledge of Cyber Security protocols, and have a proven track record of managing and driving success for Cyber Security teams in large-scale corporate environments. The Head of Security Office will be responsible for designing, defining, and executing a risk-based Cyber Security strategy and roadmap tailored for production-focused environments on a global scale. This role will also focus on Cyber Security-related products and processes across all business lines and serve as a trusted advisor to relevant stakeholders and the VP Security. The candidate will oversee the lifecycle of Cyber Security products, pursue market trends, and maintain a network of experts. You will be accountable for strategic Cyber Security projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality, requiring close collaboration with internal business stakeholders, external vendors, and the VP Security. Regular audits will be planned and executed to uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of products and processes, with results evaluated by the Security Officers team. You will also oversee Cyber Security-related programs and projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget constraints derived from cross-functional requirements.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
- Design, execute, and improve the global Cyber Security strategy and roadmap in collaboration with relevant business lines and stakeholders, Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of Security Officers across various regions and levels, Take accountability for all key Cyber Security initiatives, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements, Enable Security Officers to connect Cyber Security programs to material loss mitigation scenarios by defining key performance indicators, Maintain effective communication with Senior Management, providing updates on strategy, risks, and vulnerabilities, Monitor and ensure compliance with Cyber Security policies and standards across the organization, Collaborate closely with other departments to identify and prioritize demands in alignment with the global Cyber Security strategy, Translate business needs into demands and requirements, designing the Cyber Security program and roadmap, Promote a secure-first mindset globally through training and awareness campaigns, Onboard, mentor, and develop junior, expert, and senior Security Officers globally, Directly report to the VP Security and be an integral member of the Cyber Security leadership team

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business informatics
- Computer Science
- or a related field and/or relevant work experience
- At least five years of experience in a leadership role within Cyber Security in a global or production-focused environment
- Minimum ten years of professional experience in IT
- OT
- and/or Cyber Security programs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Prior experience as a Head of or Principal Information Security Officer is advantageous
- Self-starter mentality with a willingness to actively shape the current and future global Cyber Security strategy
- Experience leading an international team and driving a global Cyber Security program
- Experience collaborating with nearshore resources is a plus
- Strong communication skills to act as an interface between business departments and internal IT departments
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP
- CISM
- CCSP
- CISA or willingness to obtain
- Ability to identify and understand Cyber Security trends and risks to business
- Good vendor knowledge and solid network in the security market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for various audiences
- Fluency in English and German is required
- Willingness and ability to travel globally up to 40% of work time
