Information Security Analyst

Job Description:

    As an Information Security Analyst, you will serve as an expert and primary point of contact for all aspects related to IT security concerning the services provided by XBP and its clients. You will assist in the implementation of technical controls and ensure compliance with relevant information security policies. Your role will involve being the escalation point for IT security issues while maintaining effective communication and coordination regarding security requirements and decisions. You will be responsible for the introduction of central security solutions and the upkeep of technical security documentation, ensuring adherence to security controls. Additionally, you will lead independent reviews of IT security controls, prioritize identified issues, and assess the quality of remediation efforts while considering the optimal cost-risk ratio. Collaboration with key stakeholders will be essential to ensure a shared understanding of IT security risks and their implications for both XBP and its clients. You will also monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and advise management on potential impacts. Your support will be crucial throughout the development lifecycle to guarantee the implementation and adherence to information security controls.

The following tasks will be part of your responsibilities as an Information Security Analyst::

    Act as the escalation point for IT security issues and exceptions;; Ensure effective communication, coordination, and implementation of security requirements;; Oversee the introduction of central security solutions and maintain technical security documentation;; Serve as an expert in information security policies and procedures;; Lead independent reviews of IT security controls and assess remediation quality;; Review remediation concepts for critical issues and monitor their implementation;; Collaborate with key stakeholders to mediate IT security issues;; Monitor new cybersecurity threats and advise on their implications;; Support the development cycle to ensure compliance with IS controls

  • Degree in Information Security or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: CISSP, ISSMP, or CISM

  • Understanding of German data security standards and EU regulations, including ENISA guidelines
