As the Lead Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building the foundational data infrastructure for our firm. This position requires a focus on ensuring data accuracy, completeness, speed, and security. You will collaborate closely with both operations and technology teams to create and implement effective data solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of architecting data systems from the ground up and possess a solid background in data provisioning, administration, and manipulation. Strong communication and technical skills are essential, particularly with regard to maintaining data security and accuracy.

Design and implement comprehensive solutions that integrate and maintain multiple datasets for analytical purposes;; Oversee processes related to data import, maintain data quality, and ensure system reliability;; Gain a deep understanding of various data sources and their characteristics;; Collect initial and ongoing requirements from stakeholders to refine data strategies;; Serve as the primary resource for system usage and governance, advising users on best practices;; Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in data engineering and analytics

• Experience in building data applications, model building, and data ingestion and transformation
• Knowledge of container-based development and infrastructure
