As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our technology team.:

Develop services using modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot on a globally accessible cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS Fargate or Lambda., Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure setup, and monitoring using CDK, Terraform, and Datadog., Collaborate effectively with frontend engineers, product owners, and QA engineers within cross-functional development teams., Take ownership of the entire software lifecycle: design, programming, code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance., Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Completed training in IT or a degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least three years of backend development experience in Java
• Kotlin
• or Typescript.
• Experience with Java microservice frameworks is advantageous.
• Proven experience working in agile teams.
• Possess a 'you build it
• you run it' mindset.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation
• particularly AWS with CDK
• is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
