Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering impactful strategic plans that enhance data integration, quality, and delivery to support various initiatives. You will design the structure and layout of data systems, including databases and data lakes, while ensuring that the selected database management systems align with the organization's needs. Your ability to translate high-level business requirements into effective data models and manage senior business stakeholders will be essential. You will also simplify existing data architectures, lead peer reviews, and establish standards to ensure data quality.

As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy.:

Interpret and implement strategic plans to enhance data integration and quality, Collaborate with teams to design data systems, including databases and lakes, Select and implement database management systems that meet organizational needs, Translate business requirements into effective data models and quality standards, Engage with senior business stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic goals, Streamline existing data architecture to deliver reusable services and cost savings, Lead peer reviews and quality assurance of architectural artifacts across the organization, Define and manage data quality standards and processes, Guide solution design and architecture to fulfill business needs

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer science

• Expertise in modern data architecture and cloud services such as Azure or GCP
• Strategic thinker who can align architectural decisions with business needs
• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies

• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior management
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
