What you'll do:

Design, develop, and operate a large-scale distributed platform, Utilize container orchestration on substantial hardware resources running Linux across data centers and public clouds, Implement cloud operations strategies for scalable and resilient infrastructure, Maintain a cloud-first mindset and apply infrastructure-as-code best practices, Collaborate seamlessly with global teams and peers, Provide thoughtful and constructive code reviews, Demonstrate project leadership qualities, Commit to ongoing learning and professional development

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer science or a related technical field involving software/systems engineering
• At least six years of relevant experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages Python and/or Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration
• Familiarity with cloud technologies
• knowledge of AWS/GCP is a plus
• Understanding of version control systems and constructive code review
• Fluency in English and German
• both verbal and written
