As an Applied Scientist, you will engage in the following tasks::

Develop and refine long-term scientific research roadmaps to address complex challenges in technology;; Design and implement machine learning algorithms and systems that enhance the inference of foundational models;; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced NLP and IR methods into our products;; Optimize and deploy ML models for maximum efficiency and accuracy;; Conduct experiments and analyze data to validate the performance of new algorithms and technologies;; Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and information retrieval to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience with programming hardware accelerators such as GPUs or TPUs
• Proven track record in inference optimization of foundational models through techniques like model compression, architectural optimization, and system-level optimization
• Familiarity with inference engines like vLLM or TGI
• Knowledge of classical Information Retrieval models is advantageous
• Experience in developing generative machine learning models
• Background in patents or publications at esteemed peer-reviewed conferences or journals
