Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Engineer to join our team, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You will be an integral part of the Systems and Software Quality Assurance team, working closely with developers, project managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that all software and systems meet stringent requirements and quality standards. This role involves executing our quality management program, establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes, and generating detailed reports to track defect trends and measure software quality. You will conduct evaluations of all contract deliverables, assist with quality planning, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Your contributions will also include participating in audits, facilitating system and software design reviews, and collecting and analyzing defect metric data. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying non-conformances, providing guidance, and presenting findings to management. Your expertise will aid in special projects, external audits, and process improvements, ultimately contributing to our commitment to quality assurance initiatives.

As a Software Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include executing quality management programs, conducting evaluations, and ensuring compliance with software development standards.:

Execute the quality management program supporting multiple projects across CMS.;; Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure software meets quality standards.;; Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, standards, and metrics.;; Generate reports to track defect trends and measure software quality.;; Perform evaluations of all contract deliverables and report quality metrics.;; Assist with resolving quality process issues and conduct quality reviews.;; Participate in audits and system/software design reviews.;; Monitor and evaluate subcontractors’ software development activities.;; Collect and analyze defect metric data, presenting findings to management.
