As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our IT projects. Your responsibilities will encompass defining comprehensive test strategies, formulating and maintaining detailed test plans, and establishing test automation strategies when applicable. You will collaborate closely with project managers to track bugs and quality issues, manage the testing processes, and report on the evolution of testing activities. Your expertise will be crucial in executing and recording tests, performing system and acceptance testing, and assessing the quality of project deliverables. In this collaborative environment, you will also have the opportunity to train stakeholders and users on software applications, enhancing their understanding and usability.

The role involves various key responsibilities that ensure the successful testing and quality assurance of IT projects.:

Define the test strategy for IT projects;; Define and maintain comprehensive test plans;; Establish a test automation strategy when applicable;; Track bugs and quality issues in collaboration with the Project Manager;; Manage the testing phases of IT projects, working closely with Project Management, Business Analysts, and Technical Coordination;; Monitor project status, related issues, and required actions;; Report on the evolution of testing processes;; Execute and document tests;; Assess and report on testing maintenance needs;; Perform System and Acceptance testing with business users and project stakeholders;; Review IT project deliverables and documentation for quality assurance;; Evaluate the clarity and user-friendliness of system manuals;; Provide training to stakeholders and users on custom developed and COTS software applications as needed
