Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments to understand customer business requirements and assist in the continuous improvement of software quality. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative test automation solutions in the context of CI/CD and cloud-native environments. You will analyze complex customer requirements and create acceptance criteria, design and develop test scenarios, and ensure alignment with client needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, extending, and maintaining CI/CD test suites and test cases across various testing stages. Your role will also involve setting up and configuring test automation in cloud-native environments, along with managing automation scripts, Docker images, and Kubernetes setups.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will carry out various critical tasks to ensure the robustness and reliability of our software solutions.:

Collaborate with agile teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications;; Develop and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria;; Implement and manage CI/CD test automation processes;; Set up and configure test environments in cloud-native platforms;; Create and maintain automation scripts and Docker images;; Regularly review and update testing protocols to enhance efficiency;; Support teams in identifying and resolving software defects;; Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Qualifications:

• Multiple years of practical experience in IT and software testing
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with software development environments like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code
• Proficiency in test automation tools like SOAPUI, Postman, Selenium, and JMeter
• Initial experience in independently conceptualizing and successfully implementing test automation architectures and systems
• Certification in ISTQB Testing - Advanced Level is a plus
• Certification in ISTQB Agile Extension or SCRUM/SAFe is advantageous
• Experience in cloud-native development with AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud solutions is desirable
• Experience with setting up test automation in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and their management is beneficial
• Programming experience with Java or Python, along with knowledge of databases and SQL scripting
