Job Description:
- Join our innovative team at Vivint Smart Home, where we are dedicated to transforming the home experience through intelligent technology. We are looking for a passionate and driven UX Designer to enhance our security and camera experiences across our mobile app, camera hardware, and in-home panels. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in user research and contribute to the discovery process by collaborating with product managers and senior designers. Your creativity will shine as you ideate, design, and iterate on robust product experiences that prioritize user needs and technical feasibility. You will also play a key role in designing accessible and compelling user experiences that resonate with our customers. This position allows you to take ownership of your projects, ensuring that the design intent is achieved through close collaboration with engineering teams.

As a UX Designer, your primary focus will be on enhancing the user experience for our security products. You will be involved in various stages of the design process, from initial research to final implementation.:
- Conduct user interviews and research to uncover design challenges;; Create testable prototypes for user feedback;; Collaborate closely with senior UX designers and product managers;; Design end-to-end experiences for security solutions;; Maintain and contribute to the Vivint Design Library;; Ensure accessibility needs are met in all designs;; Organize and document design files for team clarity;; Test developed experiences and provide actionable feedback

- Familiarity with hardware design is a plus
