As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our backend services.:

Develop services using modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot on a scalable cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS Fargate or Lambda, Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines, setting up infrastructure, and monitoring through tools like CDK, Terraform, and Datadog, Collaborate with frontend engineers, product owners, and QA engineers within a cross-functional product development team, Take full ownership of the software lifecycle: design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance, Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth within the team

Qualifications:

• Completed training in IT or a degree in computer science or a related field
• At least three years of backend development experience in Java

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation like AWS with CDK is a plus
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
