We are looking for a passionate Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team in Bayreuth and contribute to our mission.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the technical foundation of our cloud infrastructure. Your work will support product teams by automating infrastructure and ensuring reliability, allowing developers to focus on application development.:

    Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources, Develop tools and scripts to streamline platform operations, Integrate monitoring and alerting systems for platform health, Optimize platform performance and efficiency, Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments, Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, Maintain a containerized document control application deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies including Virtual Machines and Data Lake Service
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools; proficiency in Terraform is essential for automating cloud resources
  • Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • with knowledge of programming languages like Python and scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
  • continuous integration
  • and deployment tools like Azure Pipelines or GitHub
  • Excellent communication skills in German (both verbally and written); English proficiency is a plus
