Position Overview:
- Lead individual, international data science projects within a global matrix organization to achieve goals within the required timeline., Utilize advanced analytical methods and develop algorithms/models to extract insights from diverse data sources that drive business across the whole value chain., Interact with key stakeholders to understand their needs and translate those needs into precise analytical solutions to inform strategy and help draw conclusions. Be the analytical partner for business that enables and promotes making data-driven choices., Clearly communicate analytical solutions and results to both experts and non-experts., Support further development, maintenance, and refinement of the data infrastructure, dashboards, and algorithms of the Data Science & AI department.

Qualifications:
- Minimum three years hands-on industry experience with data science or advanced analytics projects.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics

- engineering
- or bioinformatics; PhD preferred.
- Expert knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Solid understanding of probability theory
- statistics
- and time-series analysis including Bayesian statistics
- ARIMA
- MCMC
- and ANOVA.
- Proficient in R and Python
- and familiar with common machine learning libraries such as sklearn
- keras/tensorflow
- PYMC3
- and statsmodels. Programming in Spark is a plus. Knowledge of software development practices and tools for source control and project management like Git
- JIRA
- and Azure DevOps is beneficial.
