Job Description:

To expand our Product Safety team in Germany, we are seeking a motivated Product Safety Assistant as soon as possible.

The Product Safety Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of our products and compliance with regulations to guarantee customer satisfaction.:

    Overseeing the safe use of our products and compliance to ensure customer satisfaction., Independently compiling safety data sheets and classifying and labeling according to REACH and GHS/CLP regulations., Classifying dangerous goods (ADR/RID/ADN, IMDG, IATA-DGR)., Assessing and implementing marketability blocks due to regulatory restrictions, such as Dual Use., Managing master data in SAP BOne Hana., Maintaining the substance inventory., Consulting with internal and external business partners on product stewardship topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's
  • Master's
  • or PhD in Chemistry
  • Chemical Engineering
  • or a similar field; senior professionals with proven experience in product stewardship are welcome.
  • At least three years of work experience in product stewardship and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Solid understanding of CLP regulation
  • UN-GHS
  • and the compilation of EU safety data sheets.
  • Familiarity with SDS compilation software
  • preferably CHEMDOX
  • SAP BOne Hana
  • and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
