This role focuses on creating an outstanding user experience for fashion brands advertising on our platform, ensuring that we deliver highly relevant and engaging advertising experiences to our customers. You will primarily work on backend development while also having opportunities to apply your frontend skills. Your contributions will empower our partners to effectively promote their products and brand stories, enhancing the shopping journey for Zalando shoppers. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in our project development. Your work will directly impact how our advertising platform operates and how effectively our partners can engage with their target audience.:

Build and enhance tools for campaign management to allow fashion brands to plan and monitor their advertising efforts directly on our platform., Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize platform performance regarding throughput, read latency, scalability, and reliability., Take end-to-end responsibility for projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate quickly during the product development cycle., Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering peers to align on project goals and requirements., Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues to foster their technical growth and development.
