DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Online Platform Section in Offenbach, Germany. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing CI/CD applications while ensuring the middleware associated with our business systems is functioning optimally. Your responsibilities will include maintaining security patches, administering middleware systems, and supporting the development of innovative web-based tools. You will also lead the CI/CD setup and documentation efforts, contributing to the overall success of our IT projects and enhancing our service delivery to customers.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing various middleware systems while facilitating efficient operations and deployments.:

    Maintain middleware systems and apply the latest security updates and upgrades, Administer and migrate Common Application Servers as necessary, Develop and support customer ecosystems for brand websites, Create innovative web-based tools in response to user requests, Lead the technical aspects of middleware applications, Document software processes, manuals, and workflows

Spoken Languages:

Skillset:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Gitlab
  • Sonarqube
  • JFrog
  • Proficient in handling SSL tasks including installation and renewal
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems
  • specifically in AEM environments
  • Strong Java and REACT development skills
  • Hands-on experience with Web Services such as REST and SOAP
  • Familiarity with CI/CD configuration
  • GitOps
  • Kubernetes
  • and Docker
  • Proficient in Linux (CentOS) and Windows Server environments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Information Technology or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of middleware applications
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
