Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

    As a Test Automation Engineer, you will significantly contribute to the development of a large, innovative information system designed for police officers and detectives. This system allows our colleagues in blue to intuitively record and retrieve data using mobile tools or desktop applications, whether it involves a shoplifting case or a forensic investigation. Your primary focus will be on enhancing and professionalizing test automation for both desktop and mobile platforms. Currently, desktop testing utilizes TestCafé for front-end and end-to-end testing, while mobile testing employs Appium and Selenium. You will be an integral part of the testing thematic team within the Registrative Application Police Processes (RAPP) initiative and will also join the RAPP Community of Practice Testing, providing support to testers across various development teams. Your role will encompass expanding and maintaining test automation for desktop applications, establishing and refining mobile test automation, and contributing to innovations in test automation through collaborative efforts to identify and implement testing improvements. Additionally, you will mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and actively participate in the Community of Practice Testing.
