Job Description:

Efficus Inc is on the lookout for a talented and skilled User Experience Designer to enhance our dynamic team based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess over three years of robust experience in the field of UX design, complemented by a strong portfolio that emphasizes user-centered design for complex applications. Proficiency in Figma is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for managing the complete design process from conception to execution. Your designs will need to be intuitive, accessible, and strategically aligned with the company’s business objectives. You will work in close collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams that include other designers, developers, engineers, researchers, product managers, and various stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to translate user requirements into compelling visual designs that are technically sound and feasible. In this position, you will engage in usability and accessibility testing to ensure that all designs adhere to the highest industry standards. As an integral part of agile workflows, your participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives will be crucial to the timely alignment of design deliverables with project goals. Additionally, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of a scalable design system, ensuring consistent application across all products. It is vital to demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, as you will be advocating for design decisions and fostering a user-first culture within the organization.
