Job Description:
- The IT Cybersecurity Specialist will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the information technology infrastructure of the organization. This position involves interpreting and developing IT policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the security of systems and data. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to formulate capital investment plans and objectives that align with the agency's mission. Responsibilities include advising on IT policies, monitoring the effectiveness of security controls, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations. The candidate will also engage in evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of security measures and training programs, making recommendations for improvement where necessary. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential security threats and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the agency’s IT systems.
