Job Description:
- We are looking for a dedicated Data Analyst to join our innovative and collaborative Foundational Data team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing and curating vast amounts of data for a diverse array of tradable instruments, including but not limited to stocks, bonds, futures, contracts, and commodities. You will be tasked with creating automated processes and tools that will allow our team to efficiently scale and integrate new datasets. The position requires close collaboration with various business partners, software engineers, and fellow data analysts to fully grasp business needs, enabling you to design and develop robust data pipelines that deliver high-quality datasets. Additionally, you will support Two Sigma's everyday operations through keen problem-solving skills, pattern recognition, and root cause analysis to address a wide spectrum of data challenges in a fast-paced environment. Your efforts will also involve driving ongoing enhancements to the team's data quality procedures, ensuring a consistent methodology for measuring, monitoring, and reporting data quality. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about leveraging data to create impactful solutions.

- Analyze and curate substantial datasets related to different tradable instruments.;; Develop and implement systematic, automated processes for onboarding new datasets.;; Collaborate with internal teams to gather business requirements and design effective data pipelines.;; Address and resolve day-to-day data issues through analytical problem-solving.;; Enhance data quality procedures and contribute to the development of standard metrics for monitoring data quality.
