Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in information technology or computer science, complemented by industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials. The role requires a minimum of three years’ experience in IT, with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud administration. Candidates with over five years of relevant experience will be given preference. The analyst will be responsible for identifying and mitigating complex IT threats, utilizing various technical tools to monitor and defend against cyberattacks. A fundamental understanding of risk management frameworks and a hands-on approach to incident investigation and response are essential. The successful candidate will work closely with project management and operational teams to design secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance with the latest security standards and practices.

The Cyber Security Analyst will take on a range of responsibilities aimed at securing the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.:
- Identify and mitigate complex IT threats to systems and networks;; Monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies;; Configure firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems;; Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing;; Investigate security incidents to determine root causes;; Utilize SIEM tools for threat detection and response;; Collaborate with teams to ensure secure cloud service deployment;; Stay updated on emerging security threats and best practices;; Develop and document security policies and procedures
