Job Description:
- PowerPlan, Inc. is seeking a skilled Security/Compliance Analyst dedicated to safeguarding our network and systems from a variety of cyber threats. In this critical role, you will leverage advanced tools and methodologies to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough vulnerability assessments and audits, as well as developing and implementing robust security policies and best practices. You will play a pivotal role in providing guidance and training to staff members to strengthen our overall security posture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Crowdstrike Falcon, particularly in the areas of automation and tuning, along with proficiency in running vulnerability assessments using Qualys and managing alerts in Rapid7 SIEM. A solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC2 is essential, complemented by strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This role demands both independence and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

The following duties are essential for success in the Security/Compliance Analyst role::
- Monitor and analyze network and system activity for potential security breaches and anomalies.;; Utilize Crowdstrike Falcon for threat hunting, incident response, and malware analysis, automating and optimizing security processes.;; Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments using Qualys, providing actionable remediation recommendations.;; Employ Rapid7 SIEM for the collection, correlation, and analysis of security events, tuning the alerting system for efficiency.;; Prepare and maintain comprehensive security reports, logs, and documentation.;; Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with relevant security frameworks.;; Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.;; Collaborate with CloudOps, IT, and Development teams to ensure effective implementation of security measures.;; Assist in formalizing and documenting existing information security processes.;; Conduct periodic access review activities and support compliance audits such as SOC2, NIST, and ISO 27001.
