UI/UX Designer

Job Description:

    As a mid-level UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in a global team of talented designers committed to creating an exceptional Next-Generation Subscription and Dealer Portal. Your primary focus will be on designing cross-platform user experiences that cater to the needs of Trimble’s dealer partners and customers in the Field Systems sector. This involves transforming high-level requirements into engaging and intuitive user interfaces. You will act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and utilizing established design standards to enhance the usability of our applications. Your role will also encompass research on user personas, workflows, and tasks, leading to innovative solutions that redefine customer interactions with our software.

In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to define and meet UX objectives while ensuring alignment within the UI/UX team.:

    Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to identify UX objectives and create a comprehensive execution plan;; Engage in user research by developing research plans and leading all facets of the research process;; Recruit end users in collaboration with PM and marketing to execute research effectively;; Establish usability testing plans for both remote testing and field testing;; Create user personas, customer journey maps, and task workflows to inform design decisions;; Utilize and adhere to an existing design system to ensure consistency across solutions;; Design workflows that enhance the overall usability of the user experience;; Conduct usability tests on design prototypes to gather feedback and iterate on designs;; Develop high-fidelity designs and assets to support the implementation phase with development teams;; Act as a local champion for user experience design, promoting best practices among stakeholders
