We are on the lookout for a passionate data scientist who not only excels in analyzing operational data but also thrives on the intellectual challenges that come with business process analysis and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in data science, with experience in strategic analysis and operational improvement projects. As a vital member of our consulting and data science team, you will engage in comprehensive data analysis, contribute to the development and implementation of groundbreaking solutions, and ensure the analytical rigor of our findings. You will also be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation of operational analyses, thereby enhancing the clarity of our insights. This role involves gathering business process data, developing business cases, creating analytical dashboards, and sharing domain knowledge with team members. Your collaborative skills will be essential as you sift through complex datasets, asking the right questions to derive actionable insights. In addition, you will play a crucial role in helping senior management standardize consulting tasks, thereby reducing analytical cycle times, labor costs, and document rework. As you become more familiar with our offerings, you will also contribute to enhancing our tools database, which includes benchmarks, best practices, and a wealth of business process maps.

As a data scientist, you will be involved in a variety of tasks aimed at delivering high-quality insights and analytics to our clients.:

    Interface with clients to collect and analyze operational data for detailed analysis;; Assess the quality of raw data from consulting projects across various industries, ensuring it is cleansed and structured for further processing;; Design and implement scalable prediction algorithms that can handle large datasets;; Collaborate with team members to transition analytical prototypes into production-ready solutions;; Generate actionable insights that drive business improvements and operational efficiencies;; Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop interactive dashboards that enhance client engagement;; Develop methodologies for transforming data into formats suitable for analysis and reporting;; Manage and optimize the structure and functionality of our internal databases to support data analysis efforts;; Build tools to aid research teams in updating and expanding our existing database content;; Proactively communicate project progress, potential issues, and areas for improvement to both internal teams and clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering

  • Strong understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning techniques, clustering, and classification algorithms
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, and Java
  • Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Tableau
