Job Description:
- We are looking for a dedicated and driven Cyber Security Analyst to enhance our Incident Response team in Springfield, Virginia. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and high-level security support in a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). You will be responsible for monitoring cyber and network sensor activity, correlating security events and incidents, and conducting thorough cyber incident triage. This includes assessing the scope, urgency, and potential impact of incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending effective remediation strategies. You will track cyber actions from initial detection through to final resolution and perform damage assessments on data and infrastructure. Additionally, you will conduct trend analysis and reporting in cyber engineering, ensuring our security posture remains robust and responsive to emerging threats.

As a SOC Analyst, you will undertake various responsibilities that are critical to our cybersecurity efforts.:
- Lead and provide high-level support within the CSOC.;; Monitor and manage cyber and network sensor activities.;; Correlate security events and incidents using data from various sources.;; Conduct incident triage to determine the scope, urgency, and potential impact of cyber threats.;; Identify specific vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.;; Track cyber actions from detection to resolution.;; Analyze damage to data and infrastructure.;; Perform trend analysis and generate reports on cyber engineering.
