Job Description:

Join a team of dedicated cybersecurity professionals working at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, focusing on the Combat Rescue Helicopter program. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of secure Windows and Linux servers, PC desktops, and network devices. This position offers the opportunity to engage deeply with the risk management framework, utilizing NIST guidelines and government accreditation processes to ensure the highest security standards are met. You will conduct system audits, apply necessary security patches, and perform media reviews, while also assisting in the creation and implementation of information security policies and procedures. Your expertise will be vital in coordinating approvals with government agencies and consulting on the design and security of classified computing systems. As part of a collaborative team, you will also conduct investigations into security incidents, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of cybersecurity measures.

As a Classified Cyber Security professional, your role will encompass various responsibilities aimed at safeguarding classified information systems.:

Develop and maintain security configurations for Windows and Linux systems;; Conduct regular system audits and apply security patches;; Assist in the accreditation process for multiple training platforms;; Implement government-approved security procedures and plans;; Coordinate with government agencies for security approvals;; Conduct thorough investigations of cybersecurity incidents;; Work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager on compliance matters

• Prior ISSO/ISSM experience
