Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving Sysplex Performance deliverables for the next machine cycle. Your primary responsibilities will include writing comprehensive test cases, executing code tests, debugging software programs, and integrating applications into our existing environment. You will receive mentorship and training in z/OS system programming, which will encompass test planning, test case and script writing, data gathering, execution, defect identification, logging, tracking, data analysis, and reporting. You will have the chance to collaborate with architects, developers, and fellow analysts and testers to automate various test activities. To thrive in this position, you should exhibit the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, possess a strong desire to learn, demonstrate independent investigative skills, and have a solid understanding of testing best practices.

As an Entry Level Software Developer, you will be responsible for various testing and debugging tasks related to hardware and software services. Your focus will be on enhancing existing processes and ensuring the functionality of our applications.:

Coordinate with team members to comprehend requirements and adjust configurations;; Conduct testing and debugging of hardware and software applications;; Gather performance data and adhere to testing conventions;; Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement;; Prepare comprehensive Test Result Summary Reports;; Evaluate requirements and propose technical solutions
