DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic IT team as a DevOps Engineer in Hamburg and play a pivotal role in advancing the energy transition through innovative sales solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions for deployment, configuration management, and monitoring of our PHP applications on Linux systems. This position involves maintaining and improving our container-based infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform, ensuring our server infrastructure and cloud environment are optimized and well-maintained. You will have the opportunity to plan and enhance our CI/CD pipeline, driving efficiency and reliability in our deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that are crucial for the success of our IT operations.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for deployment and configuration management
- Monitor and optimize PHP applications on Linux systems
- Maintain and further develop our container-based infrastructure using Kubernetes
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code practices
- Manage server infrastructure and cloud environment effectively
- Plan and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to improve deployment efficiency

Qualifications
- Fluent in German and English, minimum C1 level
- Multiple years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or in a similar role in a Linux environment
- Strong knowledge in the administration and configuration of Linux systems
- Good understanding of PHP applications and their typical architectures
- Practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Familiarity with Docker and ideally Kubernetes
