Job Description
We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure that supports our product development teams. You will leverage cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure that our infrastructure is not only scalable but also secure and efficient. Your contribution will enable teams to focus on delivering high-quality features without the burden of infrastructure concerns. You will work with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes among other technologies, ensuring that we adhere to industry best practices while driving automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineer, you will take ownership of the infrastructure design and implementation while automating processes to enhance efficiency.
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
- Utilize GitOps tools like ArgoCD and Atlantis for automation and consistency.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and support development teams.
- Mentor team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative environment.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS.
- Deep knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD and Atlantis.
- Proficiency in Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
- Solid experience using GitHub for version control.
- Excellent scripting or programming skills in Python.
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing cloud costs across various environments.
