DevOps Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Greater Dusseldorf Area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Azure cloud technologies, enhancing and managing our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud platforms. You will be responsible for operating and modernizing our Azure services, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices. This position requires a collaborative mindset as you will work closely with development teams and architects to solve cloud-related challenges. Key Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the success of our cloud operations.
- Operate and enhance the Azure platform, including App Services, Managed SQL, and Storage solutions
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or OpenTofu
- Expand monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor and App Insights
- Handle essential operational tasks such as updates, backups, and cloud security
- Provide support to development teams regarding cloud-related inquiries
- Collaborate with architects and Scrum teams to ensure project alignment

Qualifications
- Experience with Azure is preferable but not mandatory
- Solid understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions
- Proficient in monitoring and logging tools
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in IT infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps
