Application Tester (Working Student, English speaking)
Job Description
In this position, you will collaborate closely with our development team throughout the software development lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting and evaluating test specifications, meticulously documenting and reproducing software issues, and ensuring that comprehensive and high-quality bug reports are generated. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain insightful experience into our products and our operational methodologies. Please note that this position requires you to work on-site in our Cologne office.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications and platforms.
- Work in collaboration with the development team throughout each phase of the software development process
- Create and review detailed test specifications to guide the testing process
- Document and report bugs with clarity and precision, aiding in the prompt resolution of issues
- Independently generate high-quality bug reports that inform development efforts
- Provide thorough feedback regarding application functionality to enhance user experience
- Create error documentation and reproduction guides to assist developers in quickly identifying and fixing issues
- Deliver test results to engineers and participate in the approval process for software releases
- Address minor bugs with minimal support from the development team

Qualifications
- Currently studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Familiarity with software testing processes
- Understanding of complex system relationships and business logic
