Job Description:

    McIntire Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to be a part of our Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) team located in Springfield, Virginia. This position requires providing around-the-clock surveillance and analysis of potential cybersecurity incidents. The analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing incident data, documenting cyber incidents from detection to resolution, and conducting thorough assessments of any damage incurred as a result of cyber attacks. The role involves understanding various data sources and identifying anomalous activities, as well as responding to vulnerability alerts and collaborating with internal and external entities for investigations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-paced environment, demonstrating their ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities::

    Detect and report cyber-attacks, intrusions, and suspicious activities;; Analyze network traffic and system data to pinpoint potential threats;; Perform security event correlation using enterprise-wide information;; Conduct cyber incident triage to assess scope and urgency;; Document incidents meticulously from initial detection to final resolution;; Evaluate and report on cyber incident trends;; Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective incident response
