Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join a prominent financial services organization dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and transparency of financial markets. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position involves not only reviewing and updating security policies but also developing new policies to address emerging threats. The Analyst will assist in conducting risk assessments and will be responsible for implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have a passion for cybersecurity and a desire to work in a dynamic environment with a mostly remote schedule.

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at enhancing the organization's security posture.:
- Review, update, and enhance security policies to comply with SEC Regulation SCI and ISO 27001;; Develop and implement new security policies in response to emerging threats;; Organize and run external risk assessments, documenting identified risks and creating mitigation plans;; Implement continuous monitoring strategies with regular reports to senior management;; Enhance procedures for reviewing access authorizations during personnel transfers and third-party engagements;; Conduct regular audits to ensure access controls are effective and compliant;; Formalize incident response plans and enhance business continuity strategies;; Implement data loss prevention controls and encryption protocols;; Conduct regular security awareness training and update training content;; Establish security requirements for third-party vendors and conduct periodic assessments;; Enhance and implement a comprehensive governance, risk management, and compliance framework;; Manage security information and event management systems to detect potential breaches;; Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing;; Assist with security incident response and maintain detailed incident logs
