Job Description:
- We are on the lookout for a skilled Information Security Analyst who is dedicated to safeguarding our networks and data. This role involves ongoing monitoring of our network activities to proactively identify and address potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. The successful candidate will play a key role in investigating security breaches and will be responsible for documenting findings while recommending actionable steps to prevent future occurrences. Regular security risk assessments will be conducted to pinpoint weaknesses, and you will be tasked with managing and optimizing various security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions. Furthermore, you will develop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing will be part of your responsibilities to evaluate the effectiveness of our security measures. Education of employees regarding security protocols and best practices will be vital to minimizing risks posed by human error and insider threats. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to design secure architectures, integrating security measures throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. Keeping detailed records of security activities, incident responses, and audit findings will also be an essential part of this role.
