Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our team in Southfield, MI. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's computer networks and systems. Your primary duties will include monitoring for security breaches, investigating potential intrusions, and responding effectively to incidents. You will implement strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to both technological and procedural aspects of our security framework. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and best practices by reviewing and monitoring IT security mechanisms. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you conduct audits and tests to validate the effectiveness of our compliance activities and security measures. Training will also be part of your role to prevent future violations of security procedures. You will prepare comprehensive reports documenting security and compliance trends while controlling access to sensitive data. As an important member of our IT department, you will administer governance, risk, and compliance tools while staying updated on the latest trends in IT security and compliance regulations.
