Job Description:
- We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Santa Clara County. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing machine learning models that drive various credit, risk, and operational processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in areas such as underwriting, portfolio management, loan processing improvements, fraud detection, and loss mitigation. You will proactively seek out opportunities to apply advanced machine learning techniques, including Natural Language Processing, Image Recognition, and Graph Mining, to address complex business challenges. Collaboration with the Model Risk Management team is essential to ensure that the models are developed with a high level of rigor, adhering to Model Risk Management and Governance standards. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to facilitate the effective deployment of models. Continuous monitoring of model performance through the creation of dashboards and KPI tracking will be a key responsibility, along with presenting insights and model performance metrics to stakeholders in the Credit, Risk, and Business Units.
