Job Description:

    We are searching for a talented and detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to become a key member of our Static Data Team. In this pivotal role, you will engage with the Technology department to ensure the setup and maintenance of our essential instrument reference data. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with both development and Trading Support teams to uphold the integrity and precision of the data utilized by our trading desks. A deep understanding of a wide array of financial products and the specific trading venues we operate on will be crucial for your success. You will also delve into the complex structure of our databases and explore innovative methods for obtaining, maintaining, validating, reconciling, and monitoring data through our internal tools and workflows. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a front office trading environment, ideal for someone passionate about the financial markets and focused on optimizing data sets while providing comprehensive business and technical support to broader teams.

As a Financial Data Analyst, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities focused on financial data management and operations, expertise in financial instruments, and technical skills development.:

    Manage and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the static data infrastructure;; Oversee the acquisition, storage, and distribution of reference data and other static datasets;; Implement and monitor data quality controls to identify and resolve any discrepancies;; Collaborate with trading, risk management, and other operational teams to meet data requirements;; Provide expert knowledge on various financial instruments including equities, ETFs, and derivatives;; Develop and maintain data models and schemas for different financial instruments;; Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation processes;; Ensure ongoing performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems;; Maintain a job scheduler application for workload management;; Create and maintain connections to external hosts for data transfer
