Junior Data Scientist
Job Description:
- Join our dynamic Data Science team as we collaborate with Lidl on their journey towards becoming a data-driven and AI-enabled organization. In this role, you will work closely with various departments to propel innovative AI applications within the business. You will provide support to colleagues both locally and globally, assisting in the development of decentralized data and analytics skills, while also fostering international synergies. Your contributions will be pivotal in addressing complex business challenges where Data Science can deliver significant financial value. You will clean and integrate relevant data sources, which will serve as the foundation for further analyses. Employing cutting-edge algorithms during the proof-of-concept phase, you will optimize various business processes. Once a project has been technically validated, you will work alongside departments to demonstrate the financial benefits of these models in practical applications. You will also transition projects into operational phases, often in collaboration with IT colleagues. Your work will be conducted within interdisciplinary, agile teams throughout all project phases, with regular presentations of new findings to stakeholders and management.

- Collaborate with business units to identify and define problem statements where Data Science can add financial value.;; Prepare and link relevant data sources to establish a basis for analysis.;; Utilize advanced algorithms during the proof-of-concept phase to enhance business processes.;; Validate the technical feasibility of projects and demonstrate their financial impact with business stakeholders.;; Oversee the transition of projects into operational use with the support of IT colleagues.;; Participate in interdisciplinary and agile teams throughout all project stages.;; Present new findings and insights to stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
