Junior Data Scientist
Job Description:
- As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of our Data Science team, collaborating closely with various departments to support Lidl's transition towards becoming a data-driven and AI-enabled organization. Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders to identify business challenges where data science can contribute significant financial value. You will be responsible for cleaning and linking relevant data sources, which will serve as the foundation for further analyses. Utilizing state-of-the-art algorithms during the proof-of-concept phase, you will work towards optimizing various business processes. Once a project demonstrates technical viability, you will collaborate with departments to validate the financial impact of the models in practical scenarios. Your work will also include transitioning projects into operational status, often in collaboration with IT colleagues, and participating in interdisciplinary, agile teams throughout all project phases. You will regularly present new findings to stakeholders and management, ensuring that your insights contribute to informed decision-making.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with business units to define problems that data science can solve, preparing and integrating data for analysis, applying advanced algorithms to optimize business processes, and demonstrating the financial value of implemented models.:
