Junior Data Scientist
Job Description:
- As a member of the Data Science team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to transforming Lidl into a data-driven and AI-enabled enterprise. You will work closely with various departments to identify innovative AI applications that deliver real financial value. Your role will involve collaborating with teams both locally and globally to build data and analytics capabilities while enhancing international synergies. You will be tasked with understanding complex business problems, cleaning and linking relevant data sources, and employing cutting-edge algorithms during the proof-of-concept phase to optimize different business processes. Once a project is technically validated, you will work alongside departments to demonstrate the practical financial benefits of the models developed. Additionally, you will help transition projects into operational phases, often alongside IT colleagues, and engage in interdisciplinary, agile teams throughout all project stages, presenting new findings to stakeholders and management regularly.
