Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in AWS technologies and a strong understanding of DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable applications on AWS while ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and optimize performance. This is an onsite position in Richmond, VA, where you will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to meet project goals and deliver exceptional results.

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to take on the following responsibilities::

Build and maintain AWS Cloud Infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines;; Utilize version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket;; Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform;; Participate in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban;; Work on automation user stories and contribute to daily stand-ups;; Assist in cloud migration projects and containerization using Docker and ECS;; Monitor application performance using tools like CloudWatch and Prometheus;; Debug production issues across services with a focus on reliability;; Write shell scripts and automate processes for improved efficiency
