Job Description:

As a DevOps Build and Release Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle by collaborating closely with the Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Project Management teams. Your primary responsibility will be to define and implement robust build, release, and deployment processes for web applications. You will be tasked with managing the source code control system, ensuring that all code changes are tracked and maintained effectively. Additionally, you will develop an automated and continuous build process that not only reviews the source code but also identifies build errors, promptly notifying the relevant stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing productivity by designing and developing comprehensive build systems that integrate seamlessly with our existing bug tracking systems. You will also be responsible for propagating best practices, processes, and methodologies throughout the organization, ensuring that all release-related activities are communicated efficiently to all stakeholders involved. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in our software delivery processes.
