DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

    We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building resilient cloud infrastructure and enhancing deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud solutions across various platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that facilitate smooth application deployment. Your expertise in automating repetitive tasks through scripting languages such as Python and Bash, alongside configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, will be essential. You will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems while working collaboratively with development and QA teams to improve the overall deployment process. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring security best practices are upheld to maintain data integrity and confidentiality. This role also requires diagnosing and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will undertake various responsibilities aimed at enhancing our cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role

  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Solid knowledge of scripting and programming languages including Python, Bash, and Go
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Federal experience is a plus
