DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

    Are you eager to join an agile team and work on release automation and system administration? We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our IT platform team. This role offers you significant opportunities to influence our processes and engage in challenging, developmental work within a stable and well-established company. Your work location can be at one of our offices in central Linköping or central Stockholm, with remote work options available through our distance work policy, allowing you to work from your home office as needed. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a vital member of our IT platform team responsible for delivering services, features, and support to our development teams. Your tasks will include release automation and system administration, ensuring that our operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.

In your role as a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in our IT platform team and be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our development teams.:

    Install, configure, and administer the tools and systems within our DevOps platform.;; Assist and support our developers with the systems included in our DevOps platform.;; Maintain and administer the CI/CD toolchain.;; Automate and enhance tools for building, maintaining, and deploying applications.;; Develop and manage our Kubernetes platform.;; Proactively work to improve the workflows and tools of both the platform team and the development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a DevOps engineer.
  • Proven background in system administration, including server setup and management, database installation and configuration, security monitoring, system patching, and network management.
  • Familiarity with configuring and deploying CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience managing containerized IT infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Basic coding skills and understanding of software development methodologies, including version control, code reviews, and test automation.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Swedish citizenship is required for work on our security-classified projects.
