Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a talented Junior Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in networking, system administration, and cloud technologies, along with a keen understanding of enterprise security protocols. In this role, you will be instrumental in deploying, managing, and maintaining both cloud-based and on-premises systems to guarantee their security, scalability, and overall efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and upkeep of cloud infrastructure to support our enterprise applications, as well as monitoring various cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to ensure optimal performance and availability. You will also implement and support enterprise-level security tools to safeguard our environments. This position requires collaboration with security teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, as well as developing scripting and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

As a Junior Cloud Administrator, you will undertake various critical tasks to ensure the functionality and security of our cloud infrastructure.:

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications.;; Administer and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for optimal performance.;; Implement and manage enterprise security tools to protect cloud and on-premises systems.;; Oversee networking infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.;; Perform system administration tasks such as patching, backups, and troubleshooting.;; Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.;; Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.;; Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of networking principles, including routing, switching, DNS, and VPN.
• Proficient in managing enterprise security tools like endpoint protection and vulnerability scanners.
• Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
