Remote DevOps Engineer | WFH

Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. This is a remote position that grants you the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain a resilient infrastructure that optimizes service delivery across multiple environments, including production, QA, and development. Your role will be pivotal in monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing our build, packaging, and deployment processes, ensuring that we achieve excellence at every stage of the development lifecycle. You will be at the forefront of our initiatives to improve our infrastructure, particularly focusing on containerization and application-level security. Moreover, you will work on optimizing our service delivery within an Azure Cloud environment and expanding our CI/CD infrastructure to effectively meet the growing demands of our portfolio. Collaboration will be key as you partner closely with internal product development teams to deliver a reliable, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You will also collaborate with the Cloud Operations group to create, develop, and implement innovative solutions while tackling complex distributed computing challenges and managing incidents effectively. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you respond to incidents, assess issues, and investigate service interruptions.

    Maintain and enhance our infrastructure with a focus on containerization and security;; Optimize service delivery within an Azure Cloud environment;; Expand our CI/CD infrastructure to support portfolio growth;; Collaborate with product development teams to ensure a scalable and available cloud infrastructure;; Develop and implement innovative solutions with the Cloud Operations team;; Diagnose and resolve complex distributed computing issues;; Manage incidents and investigate service interruptions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in Build Automation and Release Management, particularly within an Azure environment
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions or similar tools
  • A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while utilizing advanced technologies
  • Strong project ownership skills from conception to completion
  • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration
