Description

Site Reliability Engineer, EMEA

Job Description:

Join our innovative team as a Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of next-generation operations that span from bare metal to containerized applications using pure Python infrastructure as code. Our mission is to enhance enterprise infrastructure DevOps practices, managing numerous private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for a wide array of clients. We are committed to leveraging automation to redefine the possibilities within our industry, focusing on a universal operator pattern and model-driven operations. In this role, you will embrace automation as a core software engineering challenge rather than a temporary fix. We seek individuals who thrive on a scientific approach to large-scale operations, governed by metrics and code. You will have the opportunity to explore the entire stack, from foundational networking and kernel operations to serverless architectures and open-source applications. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will apply your Python software engineering expertise to the operational domain, practicing DevSecOps across the entire infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting and managing OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage, while also enabling DevSecOps for applications running on that infrastructure. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, especially in Python, along with a genuine curiosity about the full spectrum of open-source infrastructure, from physical hardware to container technologies. You will be working in a high-pressure environment, ensuring the reliability of mission-critical services for global brand-name customers.
