In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in crafting a state-of-the-art cloud-based payment solution while collaborating with a dedicated product manager and a small group of adept developers and designers. Your primary focus will involve architecting, building, and managing our future payment solution, as well as maintaining our existing systems. This role offers you the opportunity to work from our Budapest office, engaging closely with colleagues across Budapest, Aarhus, and Finland. As a Software Engineer, you will drive the entire development process of our cloud-based payment solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.:

Design and implement software architecture that supports scalability, performance, and security;; Work across various technologies including .NET, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, CosmosDB, and Azure services;; Maintain and enhance existing codebase and infrastructure, integrating new technologies as needed;; Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and fellow developers in an agile setting;; Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs;; Contribute to high-level design decisions and establish software development best practices;; Identify and resolve system issues, optimize performance, and create standard operating procedures

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based payment systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in English
